What a strange place...
A massive hall lined with bookshelves, so full that many tomes and scrolls have fallen and lie in piles about the room. It's oddly organized despite being chaotic to the eye, but what you find more interesting is how mystical the library is: some of the pages float off the ground, scrolls hang in the air, and books are suspended by some unseen magical wind, turning their own pages on a whim! How it all functioned is a mystery. You can't find a soul to ask within the library... Perhaps it wouldn't hurt to explore a little?

About the site and who made it
10/14/19 - Artist's Scrolls - Added a new Finished Standalone: Neea.
10/10/19 - General Site - So I've missed many rolled critters, and there's a reason for that: BOOK RELEASE! It's FINALLY out there! Now you can explore the arid world of Zirhon in a proper, non-wiki format, by delving into the sci-fi story told by 56-767, a combat mech built by the proud inhabitants of that world. Check out the first book on Amazon! It's free for Kindle Unlimited users and is enrolled in the Lender's Library, so you can share the news with your friends, too!
To celebrate, I've given the site a new background and added a nice banner to many of the pages. I've also added a sample of the first book which you can read on this site for free (share that with your friends too)!
9/28/19 - Rolled Critter - The rolls were surprisingly ambiguous for this week. This Fast Critter cut it close, with just under an hour to spare before the week ended, but made it!
9/19/19-9/20/19 - Realm Archives - Added a new page to track my progress since I'm terrible with dates: Timelines. A lot of the information here is cryptic since the Realm Archives aren't complete.
9/18/19 - Rolled Critter - This thing looks like something you'd summon on accident... oh wait, I get it... I rolled a Bull Frog! Hah hah hah hah... I can't believe my rolls are punny. Anyway, have fun looking at this bizarre sketch.
9/13/19 - Rolled Critter - This guy barely made it for the week: Leaf Eater! Couldn't think of a better name... it eats leaves... yeah, let's call it that. Good job, me. Thankfully this little guy isn't on this world to ruin everyone's autumn chores. I've also added a chain of new Sketches from designing a friend's character's alien pet: Bird Monster Gyarthadon, Attempts 1, 2, 3, and Official. Congratulations, you get a glimpse of the creative designing process!
9/4/19 - Rolled Critter and Handwritten Tomes - What better way to herald the come of fall than this week's cute Autumn Glint? It stars in the first full scene since the start of Rolled Critters!
Additionally, I have split up the Roleplaying Tips page into multiple pages, since the sections became so long it was becoming difficult to manage and was definitely daunting to look at. I also added a new section for using D&D Alignments to your advantage in figuring out what a character could do on the new Content and Writer's Block page.
8/26/19 - Rolled Critter - For this week, we have an ornithic critter surprised by an unrolled, poisonous quadruped: Reflectwing Face-off. This is also the first greyscale picture since the start of Rolled Critters.
I have also decided that drawing a new creature every week has done some good, and the current schedule for Rolled Critters is unobtrusive enough that I can continue with it (now watch me eat those words once the holidays come up). So Rolled Critters will continue from now on! The schedule won't change - it'll still be something new at any day of the week, per week - but if I do change it, I will post the update here in the Site News.
8/18/19 - Rolled Critter - This one ended up really weird, but I suppose that's what happens when you roll for no distinguished head: Flashlight Pet! Er, if you would want it as a pet.
8/11/19 - Rolled Critter - This week's critter rolled for no canine parts, but somehow ended up looking like a canine: Spinel Dogs! It's the first to come in multiple other colors.
8/5/19 - Rolled Critters - Just my luck, I commit to this idea and then I end up busy enough to miss a week. So for this week we have two new designs: Swimming Fluff Companion and Hideous Wind Monster! (Because for some reason when the swamp creature rolled for an element it ended up with Air...)
7/26/19 - General Site - I've decided to try something new to encourage myself to keep producing art and creature designs. Recently I've made a few diceroll sheets - for tabletop roleplaying such as D&D - and one of them I made is an RNG monster designer. That way, instead of creating every monster in the world, I can just roll a new one each time it's encountered. Then it occurred to me that I could use the sheet in order to give my site consistent art updates, by rolling and doodling a new creature every week!
I'm going to give this a try. For next week, plus all of August, I'm going to roll a new creature and draw it. Most of these pictures will just be Sketches or Standalones. This will be weekly on no particular day, so some updates may be closer than others. If I enjoy it and have the time for it by the end of August, I'll make any adjustments necessary to the schedule and add it as a permanent site feature! I'll also showcase the weekly doodles in the sidebar, so the site has some extra life and visitors can see updates at a glance. Old artwork will be showcased in a dedicated section under Artist's Scrolls.
Kicking off these new Rolled Critters is the very first (public) drawing: Heavy Moth Beast!
7/24/19 - Added a new Finished Scene: Ice Queen Vylainne, Headshot.
7/23/19 - Artist's Scrolls - Added a new Sketch: Sinister Dragon.
7/17/19 - General Site - I have gone back to spriting! It won't be any more frequent than my usual art updates, but it's nice to be spriting again. Here is the first update for Sprites: Tree Blop!
Additionally, I have suspended the Repleting Papers for the time being. I very quickly ran out of things to post about, and since I'm not a social butterfly my only updates are what I'm already putting in the Site News. I'm considering changing the News to a blog setup to make use of the comment features and to make each update a bit prettier and more distinct from one another, but for now I'll be leaving it as is.
7/11/19 - Artist's Scrolls - Fixed the organization up a bit, since I forgot to add new sections for 2019 art. Also added a new Art Fight Work: Moonlit Imina.
