-Abyssian: Soul Hunter-
Soul Hunters are tall elemental Abyssians whose only job is to transport souls to their respective destinations. Easily seen by the living and relatively uncommon, they tend to hide in plain sight with their seamless shape-shifting ability. Their remarkable likeness to the Black Shwarmra has caused speculation that the Shwarmra legend is true; that they are the Shadow version of Soul Hunters. The legend has been disregarded so far because there have been no Shadow versions of supernaturals. The most well-known Soul Hunter is Shadow, a self-named Ultraviolet specimen who lived on Earth and was chosen for the role of Karitzuian Archangel of Death. Soul Hunters, like so many other Karitzuian supernaturals, tend to avoid harming or even showing themselves to the living, and make effort to avoid contact. Most sightings occur as blurs of light as Soul Hunters phase past, barely noticed in time by onlookers.

Appearance
Soul Hunters are insanely lanky beings with digitigrade legs, long fingers with short, hooked claws, and massive wings with thin membranes. Their tails are quite long and very twisty with a leaf-shaped fin at the tip. Their heads are similar to those of Shwarmras and Ceriphylins but with more human qualities, with almond-shaped slit-pupil eyes and mouths lined with many thin teeth. Their nostrils are mere slits and their ears are shorter than the prior mentions', with triangular outer edges like the Karitzu. Soul Hunters are rather gaunt looking, not helping with their already-anorexic appearance. Some speculate it's to emphasize their role with souls, other say it's because soul energy doesn't add fat and they don't need muscle, and still others jokingly say it's because they were designed by an edgelord.
Soul Hunter coloration always starts with black all over. The scanty fur is then tinted brilliant shades of color along the wing edges, on the hands and feet, and ear and tail tips in the designs of fire or smoke. These same colors create a psychedelic effect in the Soul Hunter's eyes. The vibrant gradients have their color reflective of the Soul Hunter's element(s), which are used as weapons. The following colors correspond:

Abilities
- "Eating" Soul Energy:
- Souls are like lightbulbs with infinite integrity and electricity. They constantly emit their own form of energy which they can then use to manifest. Soul Hunters take advantage of this energy by "eating" the soul and stripping the energy from it. The soul itself isn't harmed, but may be traumatized by being seemingly eaten by this freaky tall thing that then spat it back out. Luckily Soul Hunters have no tongues, saliva, or even wet breath, and the souls don't have the ability to sense any pain it may cause. Soul Hunters then use this gathered energy for their own abilities.
- Phasing:
- There are many different kinds of teleportation. The Soul Hunter variant is pretty standard, with the creature simply envisioning a location in its mind and transforming itself into pure energy that can move through nearly any substance. This energy does have kinetic force, so objects it phases through are often hit with a sudden momentum. The energy also emits light, so the Soul Hunter can still be seen when phasing. The success of the phasing depends on the Soul hunter's focus and how much energy it has for the distance it needs to cover (it's also important that it has some to compensate for energy lost when traveling through objects); if it's unsuccessful the Soul Hunter can safely transport itself into the spectral plane in order to recover. If it can't even do that, it's at risk of detrimental health effects, lost limbs, severe headaches, temporal displacement, universe-jumping, and even kinetic "explosions" where excess energy is blasted off upon arrival and instantly destroys objects. It's also dangerous to other living things that it may pass through or hit when it arrives.
- Elemental Casting:
- Anything to do with the element the Soul Hunter has is something the Soul Hunter can do. The range of abilities is limitless, but can be stressing on the Soul Hunter depending on the length of the cast, the severity of it, the size of the area it affects, and how "real" it is within the plane being cast. Because of the sheer amount of souls and roaming energy in the Abyss, Soul Hunters are most powerful there; the mortal plane weakens them the most by contrast. On average, a solo-color Soul Hunter with only one soul's energy can summon a fistful of its element in its raw form for about forty minutes.
- Soul Sight:
- Their role demands that Soul Hunters be able to see souls and understand their place in any nonmortal plane; as a result, they have a permanently-warped perception of color, where the light of a world is tinted, plants are tinted, and animals and the sentient are colored. The more intelligent and strength of free will the creature has, the stronger the colors and thus more disorienting the swirling mass of them can be. Soul Hunters are drawn to these stronger colors, so tend to seek out and remain near intelligent beings. Soul Hunters have a mild form of synesthesia with them, associating the colors with strong feelings and intentions that can impact its own reactions. This helps them to fully understand what's going on with the target even if the colors themselves are cryptic in meaning.
- Shapeshifting:
- Because Soul Hunters have physical bodies they blend among the living by shapeshifting. It's unknown how they obtain their different forms but they are all limited by a select number of them, with those with more behaving more confused, irrationally, or unpredictably, supposedly from all of the conflicting base personalities. They can shift in any location, including in other planes, and the kinds of shifts are limitless; however, the transformation is seamless, meaning all of the form's are flaws inherited as well. The forms also remain "alive" even when not in use, so the Soul Hunter effectively is giving itself more mouths to feed the more forms it has. It also siphons off its own energy to heal the forms should they be injured.

Trivia
- The original legend for Soul Hunters states they were created by an amorphous entity considered to be the Creator's Yin. The reason why varies wildly from story to story. Since the Abyss is a neutral place the Soul Hunters grew up to be less dangerous than the entity wanted, so it created the Shadow to try and fix them; the result was the Black Shwarmra. The Creator supposedly interfered in time to save some Soul Hunters and charged them with their task of soul management. Various other legends also describe Soul hunters as soldiers, banished demons, elemental manifestations, and even dream guardians.
- A Soul Hunter's elemental skillset is not permanent. With enough dedication and practice they can learn any element, which reflects in their pattern's coloration.
- While Soul Hunters can teleport into an ethereal plane it does them little good as they are limited by their souls still being attached to their physical bodies. A couple of dimensions, such as some Hells, are exceptions since they capitalize on physical aspects thus demanding the ability to use and harm bodies.
- Soul Hunter wings are pointed and angular with a noticeable bend while soaring, like seagull wings. While they're fast and boosted by the wind, they're practically useless for long flights and require a lot of flapping when the air is still.
