-The Handwritten Tomes-
Here I keep track of all the novel titles I have in progress; yes there are a lot! Unfortunately, they are all full-fledged books too, so I only work on one at a time, thus only one at a time is released. Some of these book ideas are as old as 2006, and I have new ideas every other month to every year or so. My record for finishing a book is held by Rise of the Machines, which is also my first published book: that was about a year to finish the manuscript, and another year to do the necessary research, work around in-life circumstances, format the book, and finally have it published. So I have a two-year minimum set to produce a book, and that's if I have the time to sit down and just work on it, day in, day out. If only life was that forgiving.
Like my artwork, all of my books focus on inhuman creatures. The genres always fall into either fantasy or science-fiction. I take careful measures to disclose my own family-safe ratings for my books as well, since everyone draws different lines, and links to published works are headed by summaries and supported by samples, giving the reader insight on the content. I want to ensure that all my readers have confidence in what they're reading, because a happy reader is a supportive reader!
Finally, the Pine Desk is where I write articles, for a lack of a better word. I don't have many; putting your opinions out on the internet isn't safe these days, so I only publish what I'm comfortable with others seeing. At the moment this section is dominated by extensive guides on forum-based, text-based, or chat-based role-playing; basically Dungeons & Dragons but without stat sheets or dice. I intend to make future drawing guides, artwork technique cheat-sheets, world-building tips, and tons of other creator resources in the future, to help diversify The Pine Desk a little more. I will also add any articles that people generally find helpful, as that's the purpose of The Pine Desk!
